Description

Our trip starts off on a moderate pace to get used to the Inca Trail, followed by challenging ascents with views of snow-capped mountains. Trek through some of the most picturesque passages on the Inca Trail, such as the defiant Warmiwañusca mountain pass, also known as “Dead Woman.” The journey continues through fascinating archaeological sites, culminating in a first glimpse of Machu Picchu at sunrise. At the end of your trip, relax as we return you to Cusco and transfer you back to your hotel.

Inclusions:

  • 4 Days / 3 Nights Inca Trail full board with private bus transfer to the starting point of the Inca Trail
  • Inca Trail and Machu Picchu entrance fees
  • English speaking professional guide (2 guides for groups over 8 people) while on the Inca Trail
  • Igloo tents: 2 people in each 4-people-capacity tent, to allow for greater comfort and safety of backpacks
  • One mattress per person
  • Dining tent with tables and chairs
  • Kitchen tent
  • Toilet tent (only if assigned campsites do not have toilets)
  • Cook and cooking equipment
  • 1 porter for 2 people to carry personal camping equipment (not for backpacks with personal belongings. If another porter is needed the cost is and additional $80 USD.)
  • All meals during the walk, except for lunch on the last day in Aguas Calientes .
  • Hot water every morning and evening for washing purposes.
  • Boiled water to fill in your water bottles every morning, night, and at lunch if requested ahead of time.
  • First-aid kit including emergency oxygen bottle.
  • Bus ticket from Machu Picchu ruins to the village of Aguas Calientes .
  • Train ticket from Aguas Calientes to Cusco in Expedition train.
  • Transfer from the train station to the hotel.
