Begin your day with breathtaking views as you cuise along the scenic Pan-American Highway and appreciate the idyllic beauty of Ilopango Lake. Visit fascinating San Sebastián, where the production of intricate hand-woven textiles has been the city´s claim to fame for centuries. The looms used by the artisans for their craft are a product of 200-year-old technology — this sense of history and tradition represents the economy of the entire city.

Continue to the Ilobasco, or City of Clay. The area, made famous by all varieties of earthenware products, is best known for its miniature figures made entirely from clay. This local art form is very representative of El Salvador, which exports products from Ilobasco all over the world!
