Description

Visit the Devil´s Door, an impressive rock formation on the outskirts of the city. Climb to the top to admire the incredible mountainous landscape, the coastal area and, if we are lucky and have a clear day, a view of the magnificent volcanoes on the horizon!

Continue to the colonial town of Panchimalco. This quaint and colourful town boasts the art gallery of the famous Salvadorian artist Miguel Angel—you may even have the chance to meet him or purchase some of his art. Finally, prepare yourself for delicious pupusas, a delicious dish considered classic Salvadorian fare.

Options for the end of your day include visiting the Cultural Museum in San Jacinto or the Museum of “the Word and the Image”, or visiting the house, museum, and grave of Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero.
