Description

Explore all of San Salvador´s historic and modern neighborhoods -- Multiplaza, Las Cascadas and La Gran Via, and Residential Santa Elena. Enjoy a panoramic vista of this beautiful city as you walk to your destination. Visit the military museum El Zapote, where you´ll be able to see the topography of El Salvador through a relief map, showcasing the geographic features of the country.

Continue along to the historical center and stroll through the spectacular Metropolitan Cathedral. The next stop on the tour is Gerardo Barrios Plaza, which has a wonderful view of the facade of the Cathedral and the National Palace. Continue onward to the Plaza of Las Américas, where the the nation´s most famous monument, the Monument of El Salvador del Mundo (The Saviour of the World), stands. Finish your action-packed day at the Art Gallery and Crafts Store of El Arbol de Dios (God's Tree), to see the work of the famous Salvadorean artist Fernando Llort.
