We will depart Rome by deluxe motorcoach along the Autostrada del Sole. After passing the Castelli Romani- the wine-producing hill towns to the southeast of Rome- and see hillsides completely covered by vineyards, we will cross the region of Ciociaria. We’ll have a view (from the coach) of the Abbey of Montecassino, which was completely rebuilt after World War II.

Upon arrival in Naples we will enjoy a view of the city.

Next we will continue on to Pompeii, where after lunch in a local restaurant, we will visit the excavations of this famous Roman city that was completely destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvus in 79 A.D.

We will depart for Rome at approximately 5:30pm.

Return arrival in Rome is scheduled for 9:30pm - traffic permitting. Travelers will be returned to their hotels or immediate vicinity.
