Along both banks of the Panama Canal there are two portions of important rainforest that supply all the water that helps the Inter-oceanic way function. Among them is Soberania National Park which is full of remarkable trails and interesting areas for scientific research. This lush park belongs to the Panama Canal Watershed.
Our hike on the El Charco trail begins in the early morning hours, when wildlife activity is high. Enjoy observing a variety of plants an animals in their natural habitat. We will pass through the Summit Gardens. Afterwards, we will return to the city for lunch and back to your hotel afterwards. Binoculars are recommended.
As this is an outdoor activity, light clothes, long pants, insect repellent, hat, sunscreen, and very comfortable shoes or boots to walk are suggested. Binoculars are highly recommended.
