This great overnight getaway is the perfect opportunity to relax and explore Southern Florida. Leaving Orlando, we head directly into the Everglades of south Florida, home of the American Alligator. Experience the wind in your hair as you glide across the swamps in an airboat before watching a snake and alligator handling show - be sure to have your photo taken with one of these critters!
Then venture south traveling across bridges from island to island of the Florida Keys. You will experience some of the most breathtaking scenery of your life with the Gulf of Mexico to your right and the Caribbean Sea to your left. You will never forget the journey across incredible 7 mile bridge. Upon arrival in Key West we will check in to your hotel to quickly freshen up before venturing down to Mallory Square just in time for the daily sunset celebration. You are welcome to explore the shoreline and city or join us on an optional sunset catamaran cruise (additional charge), a great way to wind down and relax on this island paradise.
The following morning, enjoy a continental breakfast and free time to explore the island. Your guide is your concierge to explore all the fun of Key West. They can help you arrange a trolley tour of the island (charges apply), direct you to the best beaches, assist you in visiting landmarks like Truman’s Little Whitehouse, or point you South to have your picture taken at the Southernmost point in the USA!
After around lunchtime we will start our northbound journey back toward Orlando… but the day would not be complete without taking some time out en-route in the glamorous city of Miami. This oceanfront city of the seen and to be seen is an oasis of pop, art and fashion culture with excitement around every corner. Take in dinner at a fine restaurant in this Latin hotspot before boarding the bus to relax as we drive you back north to Orlando, arriving at about 10:30pm.
