En route to the volcano, we’ll pass by La Fortuna the closest town to the volcano where, on clear days, you’ll have a beautiful view of the majestic colossus. Costa Rica’s most active volcano periodically erupts, rumbling in the air and deep underground, sending clouds of smoke and ash high into the sky. Witnessing the volcano at night is a true spectacle. With red lava snaking down the mountain and illuminating the sky, it’s mother nature’s very own magnificent fireworks display.

You’ll have time to relax in the thermal Hot Springs and naturally heated Jacuzzis, so close to the volcano that you’ll feel it rumbling. You can also enjoy a range of optional activities offered at the resort.
