Wonderful tour worth every penny. Great native Colorado tour guide. Frequent photo stops were very appreciated. Bathrooms at most stops were also appreciated. Lunch was beyond our expectation. Comfortable bus with clean windows for photos. I think they were also polarized because I had to remove my camera's polarizing lens due to moire. Tour was very comprehensive and lasted the full day which was value for money. Jacket and long pants required for the highest elevation. We even had a few snow flurries! What fun in June. Can't say enough about this wonderful tour.

We had a great time during our tour. Darcy was not only the driver but a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and pleasant. We stopped many times to take pictures and the meal at the Grand Lake Lodge was great with beautiful views of the lake. It seemed that Darcy really enjoys his job and in turn he provides a great travel experience to greyline customers. Thank you. Excellent customer service by Darcy.

ITINERARY

Discover why the Rocky Mountains of Colorado are the object of so many people's affections on this full-day tour. You’ll see the best of the best; majestic mountains, wildlife you’ve only ever seen on TV, and views like nothing you’ve ever witnessed. Departing Denver, the full scope of the Rockies lies before you as you begin the ascent toward adventure. Drive over Berthoud Pass, summiting the Continental Divide and sitting at 11,314 feet above sea level for gorgeous mountain views.

As you descend along curving roads it’s nearly impossible to take your eyes off the ever-changing and incredible alpine scenery.
Winter Park, a classically cozy Colorado ski town tucked against the western slope of the Divide, is home to one of the state’s most popular ski resorts. Enjoy the town, exploring quaint shops and breathing in the pine-scented air while visiting the scenic town of Grand Lake for lunch. Somehow food just tastes better in the fresh mountain air, and you’ll enjoy yours at a fabulous little lakeside café nestled along the actual Grand Lake.

The final, and arguably most scenic, destination is Rocky Mountain National Park. Full of wildlife, breathtaking views and more photo opportunities than your camera will know what to do with, this park is a feast for the senses and a nature-lover’s dream. On Trail Ridge Road, you may even find yourself higher than you’ve ever been before at 12,183 feet above sea level! Your return trip to Denver is the perfect chance put your feet up, reflect on your day and decide which of your photos will make your friends the most jealous.
