This was one of the less enjoyable Gray Line Tours I've experienced. The tour guide only told us what the buildings were - which we could get from he map. Here was no history about the city or about the culture or how life had changed over the years. I've always received that rich history on the other tours. Lastly, they dropped us off at the BMW museum and a no bus returned to get us. I called the office twice. the first time I was told they would be there in 20. The second time I was told the drop off point was closed for the day. She told me to walk to the next location. It was sub-zero temperatures so we paid 25€ to go back to the hotel instead. Very disappointing.

Hi Shaun,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts on the recent tour you joined with us. We know we have a large base of valued repeat customers like yourself that can rely on Gray Line the world over. As we always look forward to welcoming back customers on our tours, it is a shame to hear that you didn't have as great of a time on this tour as your previous experience that brought you back to Gray Line. We understand that quality guides are a major influencer on our guests returning, and we're sorry that this time the commentary was lacking. In addition to this, we will be touching base with our local team in Munich to ensure that they are providing accurate and up to date information about the stops--we agree that is no way to end a day, and for that, we apologize. We hope to be able to make up the experience to you at another date and location, and feel free to email us at info@grayline.com with any other questions or concerns you may have.

Hat sich gut gelohnt. In einem zweitägigen kurzen Ausflug haben wir München gut gesehen und vieles gelernt. Schnell und angenehm.

The tour was quite short and I didn't enjoy the lady that narrated in both English and German. Tour buses in Vienna or Paris were much better. I'm sure Munich has more to offer.

It's unfortunate to read that your time spent on our Hop On Hop Off tour felt a little underwhelming. We understand the value of these bus tours and routes, as our customers have booked this with the goal of seeing as much of the city as possible in one day. We have carefully picked these spots as great jumping off points to explore a piece of the city, a section at a time. Sorry to hear it was a bit off the mark for you. As a note about the German speaking portion of the tour--Munich does receive a lot of homeland tourists as well, and we do feel the need to provide a tour to our residents in their native language. We are sorry that this was an inconvenience to you, but we do our best to cater to all travelers, whether they be from near or far! You are correct that Munich has much more to offer, and we hope that you may think about giving us another opportunity to show you what you might have missed the next time you visit us!
