Expensive for just a bus ride to Salzburg and back, did not visit Lake District, were told the boat company isn't open yet, should be explained before purchasing the tour.

Hello William,

We do apologize for this inconvenience, however we were informed by the boat ride partner on the morning of departure that he won’t offer any boat rides on that day due to the bad weather conditions. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and for the letdown that resulted We will be issuing a partial refund to your account, and will contact you about this offline moving forward.

I enjoyed the trip it was nice to see two countries at the same time. Germany and Austria. The tour guide was really good with her craft. She is amazing.

The tour guide decided they could not be bothered to go to the Lake District (they came up with three excuses, 1st, that the road was impassable in the weather and then the driver said this was not true, 2nd that the boat would not be running in this weather until they phoned the boat company and they said this was untrue and 3rd that nobody on the trip wanted to go to the lake - which was untrue, they asked only a handful of people). We then spent an extra 2 1/2 hours in Salzburg which was too long. The tour guide (Christine) gave hardly any information either on the bus or in Salzburg. This was not a guided coach trip - this was half of what you paid for and just a bus ride with no guide. A thoroughly underwhelming experience.

Hello,

Per our offline discussions, we want to apologize for this instance--our team in Munich has an outstanding track record, and while sometimes issues do come up mid-tour, it is always the company's reaction to the events that can make or break a customer's experience. We will be contacting you via email moving forward, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I consider that the cost of our tickets (one adult and one child) was very reasonable, and that we received great value for our money.

ITINERARY

Our drive through the Chiemgau gives you a beautiful view of the Lower Bavarian Alps. In Salzburg, the city of Mozart, we will have enough time for shopping and a walk through the picturesque old city. On Lake Wolfgangsee, you have the opportunity to take a boat ride to the White Horse Inn and the pilgrim church. Then travel past lake Mondsee (scene of "The Sound of Music") on our return to Munich.
