Our tour guide gave us a quick city walked and pointed out places of interest so we could decide whether we what we wanted to visit. She was very friendly.

First time disappointed with a Gray Line Tour. Was not told prior to that we were not going to the Lake District (because we went in November). Comfortable ridge to Salzburg, nice and knowledgeable tour guide for about an hour and then told to meet back at the bus five hours later. Not much to do but shops and cafes.
Reply From Gray Line:

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts on the recent tour you joined with us. We know we have a large base of valued repeat customers like yourself that can rely on Gray Line the world over. As we always look forward to welcoming back customers on our tours, it is a shame to hear that you didn't have as great of a time on this tour as your previous experience that brought you back to Gray Line. We certainly do wish for all our tour experiences to be seamless and stress free, and apologize that  this information was not made explicitly clear even more prior to your tour. We will touch base with our local team in Munich, and again, we do apologize for the inconveniences on your day and thank you for bringing them to our attention.

Our drive through the Chiemgau gives you a beautiful view of the Lower Bavarian Alps. In Salzburg, the city of Mozart, we will have enough time for shopping and a walk through the picturesque old city. On Lake Wolfgangsee, you have the opportunity to take a boat ride to the White Horse Inn and the pilgrim church. Then travel past lake Mondsee (scene of "The Sound of Music") on our return to Munich.
