This is the best kept secret in Nashville. When I was looking for a tour, I was a little hesitant because there weren't many reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance. If you want a beautiful, night view of Nashville (and don't want to be with a bunch of drunks) this is the way to go. Well worth the money. Staff was knowledgeable and humorous.

We expected to have the guide point out areas of interest and embellish with some interesting facts about Nashville. While we got some of that, it was frustrating that the guide would spend time pointing out McDonald's, White Castle, and the fact that there are so many Walgreen's in the city. The info about the 1st Piggly Wiggly store was ok, but he even pointed out the names of all the car dealerships as we passed each one. When we were at the Nissan Stadium, he told the story of how one of the quarterbacks was shot by his girlfriend. Why not tell me facts about the stadium or the team that plays there? On Broadway, he would read out the names of each store or bar as we passed it, but nothing about why it was important. He did however say that Rachael Ray voted the shake at an ice cream shop as one of the best. The weather was good, so it was a pleasant ride, but that's about all it was. Some people on the tour were aggravated about how long the stops were for the people to get off and see the map or the park.
Reply From Gray Line:
Hello Tracy,

Thank you for taking the time to detail what you felt could have been improved on your tour in Nashville. Here at Gray Line, we trust our certified guides and drivers to deliver intriguing and relevant information to the people who paid money to experience a region with us. If they are lacking, the entire experience feels a bit slighted, and we are well aware of this. Based on your remarks, we're sorry to hear that our guide wasn't on par with the standard we've set. Some of the comments do sound a bit random or arbitrary, but as a note, the murder of NFL MVP Quarterback Steve McNair was a major news story, and he did play in the stadium (and for the team) you referenced. We understand that these types of anecdotes may not be for everyone, but it was quite a monumental and tragic event in Nashville sporting history. We hope you can see our point of view on at least that bit of tour information. Regardless, we will be reaching out to our Nashville Office to kindly remind them to stick to other relevant pieces of information, and not just commenting on the surroundings!
