The “reality TV” version of 4 friends going around the world in 21 days…
"You only need one reason, doesn’t matter what it is.” That’s Dane’s travel philosophy, which is how he’s landed on expeditions to the Arctic Circle, hung off 3,000-foot-high cliffs, bushwhacked Central American jungles and now traveled the world in 21 days.
If you asked Tim, he would say there is a moment when it all happens, when everything is still and you can look around and just be present. For him, seeing the Northern Lights and Sahara Desert were both that moment. It was also crossing two things off the “bucket list."
A hippy at heart, Rex believes exposure to the world’s incredible variety through travel makes life richer. The lessons learned from the people he met while traveling have changed his perspective on life and living, and endowed tolerance and understanding.
Twice deployed on Afghan combat missions, this solider does not accept complacency in life. In his opinion, seeing the world is the only way to understand it. Meet Cole, more than a front man, more than a creative director. His vision helped bring the story alive.
But let’s get one thing straight, these guys know a story when they see it. Literally. They are cameramen by trade, so it’s no wonder the team jumped at the opportunity to tell this story. A travel story brought to life through experiences…their character…and what they captured on camera.
Between the group, there was a war veteran, an Arctic Circle expeditioner, a VW van nomad and a new father. Travel was in their DNA, this crew had seen the world… just never like this.
A few short weeks went by and Cole, Tim, Rex and Dane experienced what Gray Line provides millions of people every year – the local guides and offerings that stories are made of. Six continents and 21 days later, these guys each said the same thing – “That’s the craziest thing I’ve ever done."
There were no guidelines. There were, maybe a few, expectations. Basically, we trusted our local guides across the globe to treat Cole, Tim, Dane and Rex, to what Gray Line offers.
Enjoy their story.
