Join us in this tour to Chiloé Island that combines Ancud, capital of the island, with Puñihuil, home of a large colony of Magallan & Humnoldt penguins. Our starting point will be Pargua, from where we will catch a ferry to cross the Chacao Channel, which separates the mainland from the island of Chiloe. During our boat trip we can observe sea lions, pelicans and seabirds typical of this region.
After disembarking in Chacao, we will visit Ancud, known for its Fort, its local Museum, and the Municipal Market, which offers a variety of dining options. After lunch, we will catch a boat to Puñihuil to visit the penguins’ colony, which live in small island around this area.
