This tour is a comprehensive adventure that will reveal the best of what Transylvania has to offer. The experience starts in Bucharest with a panoramic tour, visit to the Village Museum as well as a look around the stunning Parliament Palace. Then leaving the capital city, you will be delighted to discover the enthralling medieval cities like Sibiu, Sighisoara and Brasov that are all full of history, art and culture. You will also have amble opportunities to admire some of the most majestic castles and fortresses including Bran Castle, famously known as Dracula`s Castle, as well as Peles Castle that is a masterpiece of architecture. You will be able to return home with unforgettable memories and extraordinary pictures to share with your social circle.
Day 1 | Homeland - Bucharest
Your guide welcomes you at Otopeni International Airport and transfers you to your 4 star hotel in downtown Bucharest. The adventure will begin with a panoramic tour of the city: Free Press Square, Arch of Triumph, Royal Palace, Revolution Square, Palace of Parliament as well as Victory Square and Avenue.
Day 2 | Bucharest - Sibiu (approx. 330 Km)
The day starts in Bucharest with a stop at the Village Museum, one of the most impressive open-air museums in Europe, and then a stop at the Palace of Parliament which is the world’s largest, heaviest and most expensive administrative building. Next, you can enjoy free time and lunch in Old Town Sibiu. The tour then continues on to Cozia Monastery, the oldest and most complex historical monument in Romania, and then on to explore the medieval city of Sibiu.
Day 3 | Sibiu - Alba Iulia - Hunedoara - Sibiu (approx. 300 Km.)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will explore Sibiu’s medieval charm with a walking tour in the old city center. Then we will travel by modern bus to the beautiful city of Alba Iulia to visit the unique Alba Carolina Fortress, the largest and best-preserved in Romania. After lunch the tour continues to the Hunedoara region to visit the Hunyad Castle, a Gothic-Renaissance castle that is one of the largest castles in Europe.

Day 4 | Sibiu - Turda - Sighisoara (approx. 280 Km.)
This is the last day in Sibiu, after breakfast at your hotel you will travel to the town of Turda to visit the impressive underground Salt Mine that has history going back to Roman times and unique subterranean views. After your journey to the center of the earth, the tour of Transylvania continues with Sighisoara, one of the most stunning and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Day 5 | Sighisoara - Viscri - Brasov (approx. 150 Km.)
The day starts with breakfast at your hotel followed by a city tour of Sighisoara, the birthplace of Dracula. Next, we move on to Viscri village, another UNESCO World Heritage site of unspoiled beauty and serenity that evoked the Prince of Wales to purchase and restore a house here. From Viscri, the tour of Transylvania continues on to Brasov which is another medieval city that you get to explore on foot with a walking tour.
You will spend the night in Brasov.
Day 6 | Brasov - Zarnesti - Bran - Rasnov - Brasov (approx. 80 Km.)
After breakfast at your hotel you will travel to Zarnesti for the unforgettable visit to Bears Libearty Sanctuary where rescued bears live in their natural environment. Next on your adventure, you arrive in Bran where you visit the world famous Dracula Castle and have lunch in this intriguing lands there in the heart of Transylvania. You will also visit and explore the impressive hilltop Rasnov Fortress and then return to Brasov for another night in the same hotel.
Day 7 | Brasov - Sinaia - Bucharest (approx. 200 Km.)
After breakfast you will travel to Sinaia, known as “The Pearl of the Carpathians” and visit Sinaia Monastery and the one of the most stunning castles in Europe, Peles Castle. From here, you will return to Bucharest and check into your hotel for the last night of the tour. We will organize a special farewell dinner for you with entertainment and a folkloric show.
Day 8 | Bucharest - Homeland
On the last day of the tour, after breakfast, you can enjoy free time exploring more sights in this dynamic city that proudly displays its history alongside modern culture. Transfer to the airport will be our chance to say goodbye knowing you had the chance to create amazing memories and have a great time exploring Transylvania.
