Price Breakdown:

When you think about Switzerland don’t you have in mind the image of a Swiss Chalet village slap in the lap of the Mountains? This is Les Diablerets: ’’little devils’’, located in the heart of the Alps Vaudoises. This village entirely made up of chalets, has great cachet and a penny to develop while preserving its heritage. The driver from Lausanne is about 1h30. You can spend free time for hiking at the Col or take the cable car up to the Glacier. Just looking up you cannot miss the majestic Glacier, the top is at 3000 meters. Jump in the mountains with the Glacier 3000, dominate the snowy peaks and risk you on the only bridge in the world which connects 2 summits: the glacier also houses the Peak Walk, the world's first suspension bridge connecting two peaks. The walkway, which is 108 meters long, is accessible free all year round and allows visitors to discover more than 24 peaks over 4,000 meters. During the summer season, the glacier offers the Alpine Coaster, Europe's highest tracked toboggan run. Those who explore the Glacier 3000 glacier area will experience nature close up and will not forget the spectacular scenery for a long time. Take advantage of the fun Park and the enjoyments of the snow in winter where sleds are waiting for you. In summer, let you tented by a descent in AlpineCoaster. The glacier offer 3000 multiple activities in an exceptional frame. Around 3pm go down and board the bus to Montreux and enjoy a FreeTime to feel the good vibes of this artistic city before returning to Geneva.

The tour was wonderful and our guide, Tom, made our experience even more enjoyable. Like everything in Switzerland operating on a schedule, we left our departure point exactly on time. During our trek to Col du Pillon we were entertained with some music from our guide’s playlist. Upon arrival to our destination Tom pointed out a trail that we could hike as we were not joining the other 4 people to head up the mountain. After taking the 1.4 mile to the top we were disappointed to learn that the restaurant was closed so we headed back down. We texted you Tom and he was gracious enough to head down from the mountain and drop us off in a nearby town so our family could get some lunch. After dropping us off he headed back to Col de Pillon to rejoin the rest of the tour group. Afterwards we headed to Montreux and enjoyed the city. The tour duration was ideal and gave us plenty of time to take in the sights. We were so impressed with the tour company that we booked a second tour to Chanmonix!
