I was not picked up @ my hotel. I was told that Gray Line worldwide was not supposed to book pick up from my hotel. I missed the Hong Kong Observation Wheel portion of the tour. Neither Temple Market or a Symphony of Lights comes close to actually matching the pictures in the brochures. I was not refunded for the portion of the tour I missed. I had to pay for the Observation Wheel out of pocket later on in the trip. I did other trips with Gray Line later in the tour & they were good & did pick me up @ my hotel. My guide on our tour the next day offered us to meet the next nights tour @ the Observation Wheel, but then the guide was late & i had to leave for pre-existing plans.

We do apologize for this communication error that led to a hotel-pickup mishap. We have updated our information, and will be discussing how to properly rectify the issue with our team in Hong Kong moving forward.

The guide engaged very little with the guests, and provided very little commentary as we traveled around. I would have liked to have heard some about the history of the harbor, the observation wheel, the populations of the city...general stuff. I think she should have been talking about Hong Kong every minute we were with her on the bus. She communicated very little if any with the guests, finding about about them, etc. When we would be walking from place to place, she walked ahead without looking back to make sure we were with her. She was on her phone often, maybe coordinating with buses etc...but I'm not sure about it, On probably my only night in Hong Kong ever, I had hoped to learn something about Hong Kong on the only tour I had time for...but I didn't. The lights were pretty, but that is about all I can say.

You are correct that those who visit us may be in the area only once in their life, and we apologize that the experience was anything but a 5 star tour. We'll reach out to our local Hong Kong team and let them know your thoughts in order to work towards fixing the issue!
