This tour is the version that doesn't include lunch or castle/Stonehenge tickets. The reviews for the Windsor/Stonehenge/Oxford tour with boxed lunch is the same bus. Choose this cheaper version of the tour if you want to see maybe 1 of the 2 paid destinations and don't mind sitting in a cafe while others do the tour, or are bringing your own lunch. You'll have to wait in line at the attractions for your tickets, cutting into your tour time. We grabbed lunch at McDonald's in Windsor, and were lucky the castle ticket line wasn't too long otherwise we'd have seen very little before the bus had to leave.Andrew was our tour guide and is an excellent communicator and a humorous, affable guy. He made sure we knew where to be and when. He knew us by sight even in the bank-holiday crowds at Windsor and went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable and tried us with trivia and fun facts but also allowing us time to doze during the drive. His father taught at an Oxford college for years so he had good stories from growing up there. We felt completely safe with Romeo the bus driver and the bus was very comfortable with large windows and curtains to close for shade or sleeping if needed. We took the tour in late May so the temp outdoors was pretty moderate. If your party is an odd number one may end up sitting with a new friend. In the morning it was easy to find the bus outside Victoria Coach Station. The tour itinerary felt rushed but that's the nature of fitting in so many stops in one day and not the fault of guides or drivers. Windsor had the most walking and biggest crowds due to the Royal wedding the week before. If you want to do shopping in Oxford be aware shops are closing by the time the tour arrives. Our tour had 1/2 hour free time in Oxford.
