Lacock was amazing to see. We enjoyed our time at Windsor Castle even though it was short. Bath was nice but it was too busy to go into the bath house.

The guide was not engaging with the rest of the guests but rather, Mark was paying attention to the 2 American female flight attendants and dazzling them with details of his after work activities. He also offered his services as a private tour guide.

Not enough time at the last stop, Stonehenge. Stonehenge was the main reason we chose this tour. Because it was getting late, we were dropped off at an underground station, unmarked at that. Dolly was in a big hurry to get home so she didn't find the time to tell us where we were. After further inquiries, we learned it was Gloucester Road Station. Again, if our tour guide knew a bit more about time management, we would have been all better off. Our guide had ample knowledge of history to tell us the colorful stories behind the different sights. From the back, we could hear her talk clearly. It would have been better if Dolly kept her opinions about Chinese people to herself since there were some Asians in our group. The tour involved some walking over uneven surfaces, so this is not a tour for those who are unable to walk at a reasonable pace. The price was very reasonable, considering that Stonehenge, especially, is some distance away from London.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to review our tour in such depth and detail We certainly do take such reviews into high regard. As a few notes, we do state on our webpage that hotel drop off is not included in the tour, and that you will be dropped back at Kensington and Victoria areas subject to traffic conditions. We apologize you missed this bit of info. It is unfortunate to hear that you felt rushed, as this is certainly not our goal.

In addition to this, thank you for taking the time to alert us to the improper guide conduct onboard your tour. It's no secret that a guide can dictate the overall impression of a tour and tour company (as your review shows), and we certainly take these matters serious. We will be reaching out to our local office in London concerning your account, and thank you for the information you've provided.

ITINERARY

Visit some of the most stunning spots in the UK on this brilliant day trip leaving from London Victoria.

Windsor
Steeped in history, the town of Windsor perches proudly on a lush wooded hill overlooking the Thames and is home to Windsor Castle, the Queen’s favourite weekend home. Filled with quaint shops, restaurants, historical pubs and cobbled streets, Windsor is the perfect place to relax and explore. Entry to the castle isn’t included but can be purchased on the day.

Mysterious Stonehenge
You’ll never forget your first glimpse of spectacular Stonehenge, its monolithic rocks rising up against the skyline on Salisbury Plain. Theories abound about the mysterious rock formation. Was it intended as a religious temple? An astronomical clock? A Bronze Age burial ground? Make up your own mind as you explore the unique landmark that has had the world stumped for 5,000 years.

Free Lunch – More Sightseeing Time
To save you time, money and the struggle of finding somewhere to eat, our tour also includes a totally tasty lunch! Avoid wasting time waiting for a meal in a restaurant and tuck into a six inch cheese and salad sub on the go, including crisps, chocolate chip cookie and a bottle of water. It means you can make the most of each stop and won’t waste valuable exploring time.

Lacock
Travel through this quaint English village with sights that look straight of the pages of a storybook! Filled with beautiful and historical buildings and set amongst gorgeous unspoilt landscape, get off the coach for a quick photo stop.

Bath
Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful bath was the first city in England to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a walking tour, seeing the gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey, the stunning Georgian architecture and the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modelled on Florence's Ponte Vecchio, are all sights to linger on in the memory of your day.
