I took a night and a day tour. I could not be happier with how knowledgeable and pleasant both tour guides. You could tell that they loved their job, and loved Montreal.

Seeing the city in the daytime gave us many things we wanted to come back to see. Seeing the city at night especially from Mont Royal was excellent

I'm fairly familiar with hop on hop off tours in other cities. This one delivered VERY mixed results... the evening tour was excellent, with guide Ronnie (?) being on top of his game and just constantly animating the tour with facts. This saved the day because the day tours were marred with headaches from the very start. Paid full price without any notice on the website of HALF of the itinerary being unreachable and therefore cancelled due to a gay pride parade and some small cycling event. Now the gay pride parade has been a thing here for many years and shouldn't have been a surprise to a tour company of this nature (it was to me because I don't follow such things). Lady at the counter immediately tried to shift the blame to me for not having done MY due diligence which infuriated me to a point I never ever get to. She claimed there is ALWAYS something going on in Montreal and this is to be expected (so... in other words, she's claiming her company is never able to offer a proper full tour?). The argument went from how I needed to check the internet to how I can't trust the internet (when I mentioned no indication of reduced service on the website). After things calmed down with a promise of working something out at a later date, we hit the first bus with a somewhat funny tour guide who basically gave ZERO information. After the abbreviated tour (during which there was some arguing between the tour guide and the driver over how to get back to the modified start point, over the loudspeakers no less) we were dropped off a block away and told no more tours for the day. They just basically stopped in frustration, backed into a spot (nailing us with tree branches) and shut down. Went back to the counter to find tickets were still being sold... at this point I was pretty mad but went back out and hopped on another bus to redo the loop, hoping to cut our losses. Second guide had a bit more info and we were able to get some more coverage than before. Asked if the night tour was still on and if so, from where... she absolutely wouldn't commit. It's as if the company picks up random people here and there as guides! Overall felt like I was witnessing a pilot project where people were just winging it.Decided to stick around for the night tour and now THIS was a proper professional tour. Ronnie and driver were the only reason for this one star rating, otherwise I would have to try to somehow give them a ZERO rating for running a clown show. Ronnie NEEDS to get with a proper company because his skills deserve to be properly showcased. Will I do this again? Only if I'd need to host a larger number of guests that wouldn't fit into a car, and certainly NOT over the website due to no guarantee of there even being any service on the desired day (but the website will still gladly take your money nonetheless). It would have to be a situation where I could approach the counter to be sure they were offering full service for that day and where we'd have alternate plans if there was some event going on. Otherwise would not risk buying online with a company that seems so improvised. Essentially could be summarized as making a reservation at a restaurant, paying in advance, then showing up to find out the restaurant has moved due to some event, and that there is likely not enough food to be served, and some of the waiters walk off the job mid-dinner. Like I said, really improvised feel.

Tudo ótimo. Ônibus limpo e vários a toda hora. Só poderia ter mais linhas ligando o centro ao Jardim Botânico e ao Parque Olímpico e Tam bem às Ilhas.
