Wave Rock, York, Wildlflowers and Aboriginal Culture

Out in the wide sky wheat plains, Wave Rock stands as if it's a perfect surfers wave frozen in solid rock. The colonial town of York, set in the lush Avon Valley, tiny wheatlands townships, and other strange rocks protruding from arid soil show the real Australia, always waiting for life-giving rains.

  • Picnic lunch
  • Admission to Wave Rock

It was superb to visit the wave rock and the country view was magnificent. If there was music and entertainment on the bus 🙄that would be great 😊🎧🎶 to cut down the boredom of long travel but the bus was comfortable though one can easily rest.

When considering the tour content, the price seems comparatively high. It is suggest to add a short guided tour in the York town and either a simple morning/aftenoon tea.

Online activity description states that there is a tour guide leading the way to the top of the wave rock, but finally no tour guide is provided, we need to find the way ourselves. Totally Misstatement!
