Wheatbelt town of Corrigin - famous for the "dog in the ute" national record

Wave Rock

overview

WHY YOU SHOULD GO

Wave Rock, York, Wildlflowers and Aboriginal Culture

Highlights

Out in the wide sky wheat plains, Wave Rock stands as if it's a perfect surfers wave frozen in solid rock. The colonial town of York, set in the lush Avon Valley, tiny wheatlands townships, and other strange rocks protruding from arid soil show the real Australia, always waiting for life-giving rains.

Inclusions

  • Picnic lunch
  • Admission to Wave Rock
  • Admission to Antique Lace Collection and guided tour

When considering the tour content, the price seems comparatively high. It is suggest to add a short guided tour in the York town and either a simple morning/aftenoon tea.

Online activity description states that there is a tour guide leading the way to the top of the wave rock, but finally no tour guide is provided, we need to find the way ourselves. Totally Misstatement!
