Itinerary

If you're really looking to escape from it all, then our tranquil day to the villages and waterfall of Yelapa, Mexico and waters off Majahuitas beach are an absolute must. With emerald waters and pristine golden sand beaches, these remote coves are ideal for snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking and provide the perfect backdrop for exploring Banderas Bay's secret hideaways.

The morning will be spent in the waters of the peaceful and isolated cove of Majahuitas. Situated on the southern coast of the bay in an area of raw natural beauty, Majahuitas is simply stunning. This virgin, reef-filled coastline is accessible only by boat, making it one of the most desirable in the area for kayaking and snorkeling. Sun kissed waters and swaying palm trees on the shore await you in this sheltered oasis.

After lunch aboard our luxury catamaran, we head towards the charming, traditional fishing village of Yelapa. Nestled in its own natural cove, this tiny enclave is also free of any roads, making it one of the few remaining must-sees. Hike through the jungle to the Cola de Caballo waterfall and go for a swim in its refreshing waters that vary in flow throughout the year. Kick back and bury your toes in the sand of the expansive Yelapa Beach; you'll be struck by the idyllic beauty of this tropical paradise.

As we cruise back to Puerto Vallarta with our open bar and onboard fiesta, we'll wrap up a perfect day with some great music, dancing, and unforgettable entertainment from the Vallarta Adventure crew.
The requested time to check in at the Maritime Terminal to board the boat is approximately 8:30am. 9:00 am is departure time for Majahuitas beach. From the Marina to Yelapa Beach is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. 2 hours are spent at Yelapa beach - this is free time for relaxing at the beach, swimming or hiking to the waterfall. The waterfall is located about 15 minutes walking distance from the beach and horses are available for rent at the beach for transportation to the waterfall. The boat ride from Yelapa beach to Majahuitas is about 15 minutes. At Majahuitas, we spend 1 hour at the beach for swimming or snorkeling, and from here we return to the Marina. The boat ride lasts for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
