Upon arriving at the Cerro Verde property the bilingual, professional team will provide guests with concise information on how to ride the horses and will be assigned a horse according to their level of riding skill. This awesome horseback adventure in Puerto Vallarta takes you deep into the amazing mountain range of the Sierra Madre with spectacular panoramic views of Banderas Bay! Enjoy birds, hiking, swimming, flora, fauna and even waterfalls!

For the ease of reservations and enjoyment of horseback riding, guests are offered a variety of transportation pick-up-points in either Puerto Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta taking them to the amazing Cerro Verde Ranch. Guests will also be transported back to their drop-off-point. This 8-hour adventure is NOT only horseback riding however so get ready to enjoy an abundance of activities!

For 2 ½ hours, guests will ride the terrain atop extremely well kept horses throughout the Sierra Madre Mountains. Safety instructions are given at the beginning of the tour and guides are present at all times to ensure security. The professionally licensed bilingual guides will explain about the natural wonders you will encounter such as colorful singing birds, lush vegetation, ancient trees dating back hundreds to one-thousand years and learn about the flora and fauna.

Additionally, this complete tour allows for plenty of time hiking and even swimming at the world-renown El Salto Waterfall! Guests are encouraged to bring bug-spray, towels, a swimsuit, backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, and tennis shoes are recommended.
