The most magical experience and an amazing day out. Didn't get to see any whales unfortunately but I saw dolphins and porpoises but even if I hadn't had seen anything at all I would have still been happy. The experience of being there in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and seeing the amazing scenery was worth it on its own.

We were lucky enough to see several species of Whale on our trip and dolphins. It was lovely. The boat was busy though and it was hard to fight for space to see the whales/dolphins at times.

Sailing out from the Old Harbor in Reykjavik this whale watching tour gives you the chance to observe whales, dolphins and variety of other marine wildlife in its natural environment.

The most common sightings include dolphins, humpback whales and on rare occasions, minke whale and killer whales. Local bird life is also diverse including Puffin, Arctic Tern, Gannet and many varieties of Gull. Expert guides inform you about whales, birds and nature of the area.

Specially built for whale watching the spacious vessel offers variety of platforms for watching the whales as well an indoor viewing area with large windows. To keep you warm and comfortable there are warm overalls on board, but there is also hot drinks and light refreshments in the on-board café.

After the tour you can explore the Whale Exhibition Centre to find out more about the mysteries of the ocean. It is situated in an old Capelin-fishing vessel “Fífill” which has been transformed into an exhibition and information centre on whales and sea birds.
