Price Breakdown:

Whale Watching Tour from Reykjavik
Your trip starts with a whale watching tour from Reykjavik, where you’ll get a chance to see whales and dolphins in their natural environment on just out from Reykjavik on Faxaflói bay.

Rich Bird life of Faxaflói Bay
The bird life of Faxaflói bay is rich and diverse all year round. Largest flocks are seen in late winter, when Capelin migrates to the area, drawing in thousands of birds and whales to gorge on this life-giving nourishment.

Whales of Iceland Exhibition
After whale watching, you can visit the "Whales of Iceland Exhibition" which is the largest of its kind in Europe and features around twenty-five life-size specimen of whales that live in the waters around Iceland.

Second leg of the tour is the Golden Circle trip.

You can either walk the short distance from Reykjavik Old harbor to our Office in Reykjavik City Centre (5 to 10 min) where your bus is waiting to take to the Golden Circle trip, or opt for pickup at the harbor in the afternoon.

Þingvellir National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Þingvellir National Park, is one of most significant place in Iceland in terms of nature and history. It is the birthplace of the Icelandic Viking age Parliament Alþingi (930 AD), where laws were made and medieval justice carried out.

Þingvellir is home to lake Þingvallavatn, Iceland's largest natural lake, and is the place where the tectonic plates of America and Eurasia meet and drift apart.

Gullfoss Waterfall
Gullfoss waterfall is one of the most popular natural attractions of the Golden Circle trip. Standing next to the double cascade waterfall as it thunders down into the narrow Hvítárgljufur canyon is an unforgettable experience.

Geysir Hot Spring Area
At Geysir gothermal area, one of the highlights is the hot spring Strokkur as is erupts with scalding water every 5 minutes.

Had a great experience, Dee Dee our Tour Guide was amazing at keeping the Golden Tour interesting and engaging with her enthusiasm. The Whale Watching was hit with bad weather but we saw a Minke Whale. We will be back again to see a Humpback Whale very soon!

The whole day was amazing! We got picked up at the hotel at the correct time as stated on the ticket, we then got to the boat at the pier, on the boat we were advised to wear big red waterproof suits which helped with the cold a lot, we didn't actually see any whales but lots of dolphins, the tour guide was very good! When whale watching was done was got back to the peir and had to wait about 20 minutes on the bus that then took us to another bus terminal where we stared our journey to the golden circle, unfortunately we didn't get to go to the whale watching exibition as stated on the website,no one mentioned it on the trip which we found strange but anyway the Golden circle tour was amazing! We stoped off in many of places and where give a time to come back which was perfect for us, as we had time they took us on a surprise stop which was really nice of them, over all the tours where amazing! Had good weather, got a lot of pictures, the tour guide and driver was very nice, bus had good wifi Aswell! We toook a packed lunch so not sure about the cost of food at the stops off so can't say Much about that but my advice would be to wrap up for the waterfall and whale watching.

Some confusion with the trip being cancelled hen it wasn't, good transport links and communication but sadly no whales! Long day but we'll worth it.
