Itinerary
At the beginning of World War II, about 30,000 Jews fled Europe, settling in Shanghai. Calling themselves "Shanghailanders" the majority most settled in the neighborhood of the Hongkou District. Visit Ohel Moishe Synagogue which served as the spiritual heart of this Jewish community, and which currently houses the Museum for Jewish Refugees. We will also visit Huoshan Park, a peaceful place where the Monument in Memory of Jewish Refugees now stands. Lastly, we’ll come back to the downtown area and visit the Fairmont Peace Hotel and Moller Villa, both are in the style of Europe. This tour is of private vehicle and tour guide.
