The 1,700 year-old Zhujiajiao Water Village is also known as "Pearl Stream". This village not only retains the ecology and style of the ancient towns of the millennium, but also the "contemporary Jiangnan" that represents the new style and living conditions south of the Yangtze River region. With 36 different styles and shapes, Zhujiajiao has old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and small brick and wooden houses with boutique styled yards.
There is a special leisure and tranquility that this village has, and is showcased in its breathtaking sunsets. Taste local food and snacks in the #1 Jiangnan Tea House, located by the Caogang River while you enjoy a marvelous sunset.
This tour will end with a transfer back to the city after 7:00 pm from May to September, and after 6:00 pm during the rest of the year.
