DAY 1: TAIF ( Arrival )

Arrival at TAIF airport or JEDDAH airport ( 180km drive ) , after formalities, you will be able to direct yourself to the Car rental area at the BUDGET car rental counter , or just pick up your car in BUDGET outlet downtown TAIF . After the car formalities are done , you will receive the keys , and you will be ready to discover the region. Drive to your hotel . We will provide you with a GPS device and a road book.Check in at hotel . Overnight in TAIF .

DAY 2: RIYADH ( 50 km )

Breakfast at your hotel. We suggest to start your journey and drive up the Sarawat Mountains Range that spread all along the western side of the Arabian Peninsula from Yemen until Jordan. Once we have passed the crest peaking at nearly 2000 meters high we will drive down the eastern side towards the city of Taif. This city, thanks to its location above 1600 meters benefits from cooler weather, especially in summer when people travel there for its green nature and its pleasant weather, its beautiful scenery and the town’s relaxed atmosphere. Then start with a drive enjoying the majestic panoramic view of al Hada mountain before you can enjoy a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, visit a place unique to Taif that is a Rose factory where people of Taif gather the local roses to make one of the best rose perfumes in the world. Then finish with the Sharif Museum. Return to your hotel Overnight in TAIF.

DAY 3: TAIF – WA’BAH CRATER – TAIF ( Departure )

Breakfast at your hotel. This morning we suggest an exciting excursion at the Wa’bah crater. This impressive geological formation is a testimony of the volcanic activity of the western part of Saudi Arabia. It located at the edge of a large lava field called the Harrat Kishb. On our way we will see the first volcanoes and the dark ground created by the lava flows of the Harrat. Once arrive at the Wa’abah we will admire its impressive 2-kilometer crater and may be plan a picnic lunch with the view on the white color of the salty ground at the bottom of the crater. Then will look at the hike down until the bottom where we are surrounded by the 200-meter high crater sides. This adventure will end with a hike up the crater . At the end of the afternoon you will drive back for your departure.You can return the car in the airport of TAIF or drive to JEDDAH ,go to the car rental RETURN parking , handover your car to the BUDGET team , and direct yourself to the departure area
