Crossing the Scottish Border into England, you can enjoy the beautiful countryside as our guide tells you the stories of the region’s colourful past. We will then visit the idyllic country estate of Hirsel and explore the Holy Isle of Lindisfarne, famous for it's spectacular scenery and historic monastery ruins. On the way back to Edinburgh, we will visit the stunning Alnwick Castle — made famous in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone’ and ‘Downton Abbey’

Our host/driver/tour guide was knowledgeable, interesting and sometimes funny. He was also courteous and helpful. The trip was enjoyable and we thoroughly enjoyed the sites visited.
