If you visit Bariloche, there is one excursion that you simply cannot miss: the famous Circuito Chico. It is the gateway to the most iconic landscapes in the region and, in just half a day, it will allow you to connect with the natural beauty and essence of this mountain city.
The adventure begins on Avenida Ezequiel Bustillo, a scenic road that winds alongside the imposing Nahuel Huapi Lake. As you advance, the urban constructions are left behind and the landscape transforms into a natural canvas, where the forests of cypresses, maitenes, coihues and ñires envelop you with their fragrance and color.
At kilometer 17, one of the jewels of the route awaits you: Cerro Campanario. With a height of 1,050 meters, its summit offers one of the eight best panoramic views in the world.
The route continues until kilometer 24, where architectural wonders begin to appear such as the charming San Eduardo Chapel, the elegant Llao Llao hotel and Puerto Pañuelo, a setting that seems straight out of a postcard. From there, we enter the serenity of Villa Tacul and the crystal clear waters of Lago Escondido.
One of the most amazing points is the crossing over the Angostura Bridge, where the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes embrace each other in a spectacle of colors and reflections.
The Mirador del Lago Moreno, known as the Panoramic Point, offers a privileged view that invites you to stop and simply admire. On the way back, we pass through the quiet Laguna El Trébol, while the road guides us again to the center of the city along the same Av. Bustillo.
In just 60 kilometers, you will have explored lakes, mountains and forests that make up the vibrant soul of Bariloche. A tour that combines nature, history and unforgettable landscapes, leaving each visitor a little piece of Patagonian magic.
