Julia was amazing - knowledgeable, well-organized, great at handling questions/corraling people - giving timeline for what we needed to do. Its very confusing having to secure tickets on your own, but we did and were well-set-up, but I felt badly for those who didn't have tickets ahead of time. Only suggestion is more time in Brasov - there really was no time to visit the Black Church AND get lunch - you had to select seeing a site or getting something to eat - luckily we found a place with soup so got in and out quickly. Highly recommend this trip - it's long but you see Pelas Castle and Brasov which were great - and yes, Bran Castle is cheesy/total tourist place, but it was a gas - particularly if you've done a "dark history" tour in Bucharest.

I was recommended to book with Grays and I am so pleased I did because it was a brilliant -albeit long - day.The information I received as soon as I booked was clear and easy to follow which meant I knew exactly where the meeting point was and who my contact for the day would be.The tour was in a small group which made it even better and Angelica our guide was superb. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable by providing lots of interesting information as we travelled. At each destination we were given very clear information about meeting points and timings. It ended up being about 15 hours because of the traffic so be prepared for a long day. Bran Castle was exceptionally busy and a little too crowded for my liking.Will definitely book with this company again!
