Interlaken & Grindelwald Tour From Lucerne

9.5 Hours

Price Breakdown:

This is an excursion to one of Switzerland’s most magnificent Alpine regions. The guided coach tour takes you on scenic routes to Interlaken at the foot of the snow-covered Alps of the Bernese Oberland. After some time at leisure in Interlaken, the coach takes you to the well-known holiday resort of Grindelwald, which is nicknamed the "Glacier Village." You will have enough time to explore this region on your own.

For a breathtaking view of the Bernese Alps, an optional cable car ride (operated from middle of May to middle of October) to the sunny terrace of Mt. First at 2,168m / 7,113 ft, is recommended. In the late afternoon meet your coach and guide for the return journey to Lucerne.

The bus tour was not as personal as other tour since it was only to Interlaken and Gwindelwald. Basically, we were transported by bus (ride was good), and dropped off at specific locations. The town visits were good and we walked around on our own, but didn't know we were going to be riding the same bus as folks going to Jungfrau tour. We assumed this was going to be a separate group tour on a different bus. Compared to our trip to the German castles, Neuschwannstein and LInderhoff, this was not as good but satisfactory.
