Johnny was very nice and knowledgeable , everything left on time . They sold waters and beer on the bus that was much appreciated after climbing all those stairs in the castle .

We really enjoyed this tour. As the tour company had instructed, we arrived early and boarded the first bus. We didn't get to sit at the top of the bus, but our seats on the first level still had good visibility. Beer and water were available for sale on the bus. There was also a bathroom on the bus. Linderhof was our first stop and was just gorgeous. No pictures were able to be taken inside Linderhof, but you could take as many on the grounds as you wanted. The next stop was Oberammergau. total waste of time. We had thirty minutes, which allowed a bathroom break, a few shops, and ice cream. Next stop: Neuschwanstein. Take the shuttle up to the castle for $3 euros, and walk down when you are done. I'm in pretty good shape, but my legs were sore the next day from the hill. When we got to the top we went on the bridge, which was terrifying because I'm scared of heights. My husband loved it though! No photos are allowed in the castle, but a tour provided.

The bus and your organizer were great. The time at Linderhof was very short, as was the stop at Oberammergau. I think I’d rather have skipped the town and stayed an extra 30-40 mins at Linderhof. The grounds are beautiful there and we needed more time to explore. Everyone essentially had to jog back to the bus.
