New Orleans Super City Tour

2.5 Hours

Price Breakdown:

Hop-on this tour to see over 25 square miles of New Orleans!

Absorb the sights & sounds of the world-famous French Quarter and historic Jackson Square (Place d’ Armes), home of the Cabildo and Presbytere Museums.

Travel through 15 historic neighborhoods, such as Treme & Faubourg Marigny, and learn about their cultures and people – both past and present.

Marvel at stories of voodoo and piracy on Bayou St. John, a waterway used by Jean Lafitte and his band of pirates, as we make our way to a stop at City Park, one of the ten largest urban parks in America, filled with live oak trees hundreds of years old.

Enjoy some delicious beignets (French doughnuts) at Café du Monde (optional; cost not included in tour price) or just relax for a few minutes until your tour continues.

We’ll then make our way to the shores of Lake Pontchartrain, where you can view the longest bridge over water in the world – the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway! You’ll also see the New Basin Canal Lighthouse that was damaged during Hurricane Katrina and then rebuilt.

Visit one of our historic cemeteries, referred to as “Cities of the Dead,” and learn about this unique above-ground burial system from your tour guide.

Follow the path of the St. Charles Avenue streetcar, the oldest continuously operating passenger railway system in the world (until service was disrupted by Hurricane Katrina).

View Tulane and Loyola Universities across from Audubon Park, home to one of the top five zoos in the nation, The Audubon Zoo.

See the homes of former Kings & Queens of Mardi Gras, stately mansions and the world-famous, exclusive Garden District.

Includes narrated motorcoach tour and 3 stops.

Elizabeth and Dwayne were great, super friendly, and knowledgeable about New Orleans. It wasn’t a scripted speech like some tours have, which is why I liked this tour so much. Added a great set of places to add to the list before we leave.

What a fabulous tour. Kindrell the tour guide/driver was brilliant, he gave us a huge amount of history and information but was also very humorous and went above and beyond telling his stories. He was also very informative giving details of places to eat and what to eat . We tried the oysters as suggested and he was ‘o righty ‘. They were good! Thank you so much for making our time in New Orleans fun. We also did the double plantation tour with Kindrell and again a fabouloud tour guide
