Itinerary

Meet the group and your tour escort at the centrally located meeting point in Split to begin this exhilarating one day tour out of the city. You’re just a short ride away from the famous Krka Waterfalls National Park and its most welcoming part – Skradinski Buk.

Enjoy the ride from Split and listen to your tour escort letting you in on all the little secrets of the national park you’re about to explore. Upon arrival, enjoy your free time in the park and start exploring the area at your own pace. A well organized net of trails for visitors leads you straight into a small resemble of authentically renovated stone houses – workshops, exhibits and watermill that demonstrate all the necessities for a sustainable village life centuries ago.

Continue exploring the zone on your own by finding your way across the waters of the enchanting Krka River and stopping every now and then to read the educational maps with interesting info about herbal and animal species that call this place a home. Take a deep breath and relax in the shades of tall trees, sit by the refreshing river and slowly take in all the beauty that surrounds you or go crazy and jump into the river to swim close to one of the cascades for a very unique experience. Use your whole time in the park to wonder around the area, exploring every little corner and using all the perfect photo opportunities.

Then say adieu to this small piece of paradise and get back on the bus. The ride back to Split leads you through some striking landscapes and picturesque Dalmatian villages. In Split, you will be dropped off at the same place where you were picked up in the morning.

Very beautiful waterfalls in the national park. Dario had a great sense of humour. I would have preferred to go straight back to Split instead of going to Šibenik as I was really tired and Šibenik was beautiful but a bit boring.
