Both driver and tour guide were so nice and helpful. It was evident that my husband could not walk distances so they ordered a taxi to not only take us to the center of town but pick us up and deliver us back to the bus.

The tour was in GermanyThe tour guide was too Americana good example of this was when she referred to the football stadium as a soccer stadium in the first instancemay have lived in Germany for 25 years but as an AmericanSpoke for hours repeating useless facts and unfunny jokestelling us about how they now have the largest KFC in the world and she previously had to go to the US army base to get KFC and when describing a local town pointing out that they had everything you need Macdonalds, supermarket etc in that orderAlso i don't think we really needed to know how long the urinal is at Octoberfestfinally at the end of the tour we were told there was a basket if we wanted to show our gratitude AND also if we had any complaints to WRITE THEM ON A 20 EURO NOTE and put it in the basketI do not find this sort of comment amusing but rather insulting

Roy,

We are sorry to hear that the driver did not communicate in a culturally appropriate context. Normally, our drivers receive very high ratings from our tour guests for being informative and entertaining. We will take the time to reevaluate our process and improve our future tour formats. Thank you for choosing Gray Line and the Romantic Road tour.
