Great value for this tour. It felt like having a personal chauffeur in on my vacation!

The tour was very good, with some very beautiful locations to visit. Elly was a very interesting and humourous guide, which made it much more interesting for us. The waterfalls and black beaches are well worth a visit!

Rainy day but still get to see everything on the tour.

While the tour itself was fine, certain details could definitely have been improved: the place we stopped for lunch Was the same as 4 other tour buses which meant the line for food was out the door. By the time I was able to get to the front, order and pay, I only had 5 minutes to quickly eat my food. The tour ended on a very bad note for me - the last stop was at a waterfall where you have the ability to walk behind it. A very cool spot, but unfortunately meant we were all pretty much soaked when we got on the bus. While the ride was uncomfortable, at least the bus was heated. However, although the tours picked us up right outside our hotel, the bus dropped me off a good 5 blocks from my hotel and made me walk. Thankfully I had purchased an international data plan so I didn't get lost but I was still in soaking wet clothes! The temperature was below freezing and the wind was blowing - it was unbelievable that they would allow their guests to wander around in the cold when they knew perfectly well, having done this tour before, that we would all be in wet clothes.

Hello Jocelyn,

Thank you for writing to us about your experience on the South Coast tour. It is unfortunate that you were not aware of the cold water spray from the waterfall and as you wanted to walk behind it not prepared with a rain coat or rain resistance clothing. It does get very cold in Iceland during the Wintertime and we try the best we can to warn our visitors to dress accordingly.

The pickup service for tours is always with smaller vehicles and with those we can get very close to the hotels but on return this can be a challenge and in our booking confirmation we mention that this complimentary service can sometimes mean we let our passengers off at nearby streets where the larger coaches are allowed to enter and stop.

As a gesture of good I will refund a portion of booking as a compensation –if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
