really fun but they need to tell you what to expect like that you will get soaking wet and if there are bags for you to keep your stuff

Hi Marie,

First off, it's great to hear you enjoyed the experience! That is our number one goal. That being said, we do understand your point of view--but we do try and alert our customers to this possibility of getting wet, via our description of the tour, photos of the open-top vessels we use, and the tour name itself. We will look into making this more clear on our itinerary page, and hope that the experience of being up close to such an amazing natural wonder overshadowed the "baptism in the mists" that accompanied it!

Hi Lyndsey,

We certainly do apologize that things did not go as smooth as both parties would have expected, but there are a few issues that we do wish to address regarding your negative review.

When your tour was booked, your hotel pickup information was not included on it. Our Agents in Argentina reached out to you via email 3 days prior to the tour taking place (when reconfirmations for our tours begin) and explicitly and directly asked for your hotel name and address that you were to be picked up at. When they did not hear back within a comfortable timeframe, they contacted the Gray Line Worldwide Office for one of our Agents to try and establish contact with you and get your hotel information and make sure we got you on the tour you paid for! Unfortunately, by the time you contacted us to sort things out (the morning of the tour), there was no longer any availability as we had heard no response from you and had other people on the waiting list for this experience.

On the voucher we send out for confirmed tours, we ask that customers reach out to us at least 48 hours before the date of the tour to reconfirm their spot on our tour as well as the time and place of pick up and give three different ways to contact us. Unfortunately, you did not follow these instructions--which led to our the efforts to reach out to you and make sure you were joining us. As noted, we were quick to refund your money as it's not our intention to take funds from those who don't use our services.

Again, we do apologize for this communication breakdown and we understand your dissapointment in the resulting actions. However, on our end, we were trying to contact you in a variety of ways. Given this, we do wish to let you know that the accusations of an unprofessional organization who did nothing to help you in your time of need is completely false and unwarranted. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out to us again via info@grayline.com
