During this tour you will have the opportunity to tour the field, learn about the process of organically agriculture, receive a cooking class by one of Los Cabos top chefs and then enjoy a delicious lunch.
Guest arrives and congregates under a large mango tree where they are offered fresh juice or iced tea. As this is a working organic farm with strict hygiene standards, you will be asked to wash and disinfect your hands before the tour begins.
Baskets and scissors will be distributed for collecting produce from the field, and participants will receive instructional information on organic agriculture.
As the tour continues to the field, the guide and agricultural engineer with vast experience as an organic farmer, will point out different aromatic herbs and vegetables, demonstrate the proper way to pick each of them and explain what it takes to become a certified organic farm and how this differs from conventional farming, you will have time for questions and answers.
From the field you will head up to the ranch house for a talk with Tamarindo's extraordinary chef where he will walkthrough what the group will be making, including techniques of traditional Mexican cooking. This is a hand-on-course but appropriate for chefs of all skill levels. You will have ample opportunity to ask questions as you cook, and will get to smell each of the different ingredients will be use to prepare the meal.
Once the dishes are completed you will enjoy the delicious lunch on the sunny outdoor terrace.
