Tourguides were knowledgeable and passionate about the city. Especially William Hayes was fantastic and made everybody on the bus laugh!

—No map or itinerary provided. —Emailed customer service, and they were very responsive, but referred me to the website of another tour company to find a map. So now I’m wondering if the map is the right one. —After some searching, found the map, but no times on it, so I don’t know where to hop on or how long I’m going to have to wait. —Map text says it will come to our hotel, but map route doesn’t go anywhere near the hotel. That’s confusing. —I get my tickets on my phone which is great, but it’s a really good think I checked the FAQ because for some weird reason they require paper tickets. So now I have to figure out how to print at a hotel. Boarding pass printing is free but not tour ticket printing. So I paid $6 to print the tickets and the guy just glanced at them, which he could have done on my phone. So, fun tour, but simple things like a link to a map sent with the tickets, consistent branding, and more pre-tour information would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.

We were very disappointed in our tour. Our guides on two different busses were trying to be comedians rather than give us information about your beautiful city. One talked more about his “ex” than anything else. Saying quickly . . . On your left Oreo. Your right but not giving any history about the places pointed out was not what we expected at all. For the money we paid, I would advise any other tourist to pick another service rather than Gray Line. We’ve used Gray Aline in many other cities and have never experienced what we did in San Francisco. What a waste of money!
